FuelzUS started during one of the busiest seasons of my life — I was a full-time college student and a full-time employee working at Raymour & Flanigan.

My days started at 6 AM, rushing to beat traffic, commuting to school in the morning and work in the afternoon. By the time I got off at 12:30 AM, I had just enough time to sleep and repeat it all over again. It was exhausting.

That’s when the idea began to take shape.

Even in New Jersey, where they pump the gas for you, I realized how much time I was still wasting — stuck at gas stations during the few moments I had for myself.

During my senior year of college, we were assigned an entrepreneurship project: solve a real problem. That’s when the lightbulb went off. I was already facing the problem — and I knew I wasn’t the only one.

I started talking to single moms, busy parents, working people — and the message was clear: getting gas wastes time.
